The Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace is the premier offering of Tradewinds, the Department of Defense’s suite of tools and services designed to accelerate the procurement and adoption of AI/ML, data, and analytics capabilities. The marketplace is a digital repository of post-competition, readily awardable pitch videos that address the DoD’s most significant challenges in AI/ML, data, and analytics. All awardable solutions have been assessed through complex scoring rubrics and competitive procedures and are available to government customers with a Marketplace account. Deca Defense’s awardable solution, CALLOUT, is an intent-based autonomy layer for human-machine teaming at the tactical edge. CALLOUT enables operators to task unmanned systems using natural language, expressing desired outcomes rather than platform-specific procedures. It translates operator intent into structured, executable actions across heterogeneous platforms, allowing unmanned assets to function as extensions of the unit rather than extensions of a single operator. CALLOUT is designed to run on embedded, constrained hardware and reduce cognitive burden in degraded and contested environments.
